Though members of Watertown Troop 43 had been here before (and obviously enjoyed their experience since they wanted to return), this was the first visit for my son and I. It didn't take long for us to settle in thanks to the wonderful staff (who always were accessible when we had questions/concerns). Navigating the cave was something I was worried about. Blessing is an understatement when it comes to the people who run the place. I would not be living happily with my 3 kids if it wasn’t for their humbled kindness 2 years ago. I actually showed up after hours and they came up from their house to check me in and still let me have a spot. I was in a very tough spot and it was very unpredictable and unexpected. Not only did I have a blast on the cave tour, the owner was nice enough to patch my tire when I came out of the cave and found I had a flat! My tour group was only myself and another family, so we got to take our time and really look around. Kyle, the tour guide and owner's son, clearly loves the cave and is passionate about sharing his knowledge with others.
