Stopped into Eagle Bike Shop today and was genuinely impressed. The not-bald guy ;) with the tattoos was incredibly helpful, had me taken care of immediately, and somehow had everything I needed in stock, plus a surprisingly great selection of Deity components and other quality MTB parts. Dropped off 5 kids bikes for a tune up and tire replacements. 1 of the bikes (my daughter's) needed modest repair - chain and gear shifter replacement. Total cost $750. Total time without the bikes 8 days. I think you should look elsewhere for basic bike services. I didn't do my homework on other shops in the area. I will not be coming back for any of my bike needs again. If you're looking for any Aventon ebike this is the place to shop a one man show so be patient but good honest advice answered all my questions and no pushing for a sale.
Customer service is horrible. This guy seemed like the owner and he legitimately hates interacting with people. I bought a bike here since it was the only shop that had the one I wanted without having to pay shipping. I recommend going to George’s further down state St. I went in there before this shop, and they were incredible
I’d give them 1 star but the guy inside was super nice and helpful. How can you be a bike shop and not sell road bikes? It’s like going to a coffee shop and not being able to get espresso. Also, the shop looks closed from outside with the mirrored glass and no open sign. Perhaps they change and survive. I hope so.
