Smog priced as if they dont want your business lol
High marks for just showing up and Michael Juneman (owner?) who was a really friendly person saying he had time to smog by 2016 Civic. It passed and I was in and out in about 20 minutes. I didn’t ask about pricing so I was a little surprised when I looked at the invoice later and it was higher than I was expecting ($99.75 + $8.25 for the certificate + $3.24 credit card fee = $111.24). Website shows this company opens at 8:30am. I arrived at almost 10am to be greeted by someone who doesnt even work for the company who advised the owner/workers are normally a few hours late and I was turned away. Dont go here as there is no guarantee they will be open for business as they claim to be!
I had a disappointing experience at EZ Smog. The person helping me had an attitude, wouldn’t make eye contact, and made the whole interaction uncomfortable. The technician told me he did not feel comfortable passing my car due to multiple codes, which was fair and I understood. The problem was the customer service. I also forgot my DMV notice, and he said he’d charge me extra just to look it up, he wanted to charge me $120. Other shops have done this for me in the past without any extra fees.
