As a Chinese person, eating Chinese food is like breathing for me — It’s a part of my life. Thus, I do not get easily fazed by Chinese restaurants. However, Fok Noodles/E Noodle Town is exceptional. I have been coming here since 2023, and I do not recall a single time when I left without devouring every bit of my food (see photo attached below). This is a callback to the small neighborhood restaurants in HK that served the ice drinks, noodles, congee and claypot rice that hits the cravings. I love coming here every month, it never disappoints. Don't be intimidated by the small entrance, everybody's really friendly.
Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Chinatown. I came here with my friends for the first time four years ago, an I've kept thinking about its food from time to time. As someone who speaks Cantonese, I feel very at home, and the food is so authentic that it always reminds me of home. You can’t go wrong with any dish, but my favorite is still the noodle soup:)
