I live on a sailboat and I am currently in Majuro, Marshall Islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. I found EMarine online when my 8 year old Genasun solar controllers died. Dishonorable, dishonest Despicable management, misrepresented their product, failed to respond to warranty questions, then refused to honor warranty OR return policy. Horrendous customer service, unresponsive to queries.
My experience in purchasing my fairly large solar upgrade from eMarine has been exceptional. In the design phase Marc in technical support was outstanding – he answered all my many questions and developed a schematic for my installation, which was extremely helpful. My order was delivered complete and on time – pricing was excellent. I'm in Idaho and needed a part for my inverter. Nobody in Idaho wanted to fix my inverter or sell me parts, they all wanted me to purchase a new unit for $1500. I called eMarine and they helped locate the part I needed and sold me the part without inflating the price because of the chip shortage. Thanks to Diane for all of her help.
We purchased a complete solar system from eMarine in December 2020. Our sales rep was Jim who was extremely helpful in product selection. Unfortunately the $560 solar panel arrived damaged (shattered) and eMarine has a policy that they do not replace or refund your purchase until they get reimbursed first from the shipper, a process that can take as long as 6 months we have been told. For that reason I cannot recommend eMarine.
I ordered solar panels, a controller and the associated wiring from E Marine Systems. They were very helpful in selecting components that worked well for my boat and suggested some inexpensive changes that made my system better. Everything was ready to go as promised when I came to pick it up. I will be ordering from them again.

I was shopping on ebay for a Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 100/50 and saw that E Marine System had the most competitive prices, I called to ensure I was ordering the right thing for my installation and I received excellent customer service from the knowledgeable staff.
