I came here to read truthfully reviews from real patients but I find most reviews are suspicious, written by same person with long detailed scripts, bold fonts marketing for Rezum procedure!! Myself very interested in Rezum but I wanted to read honest and truthful reviews written by patients themselves not have been written for them. Even no reviews talk about the cost!! I am not here to question the doctor expertes but I am upset how these reviews were written!!
My experience with Dr Edward Matsumoto and Dynamiq Urology has been excellent ! Rezum treatment was the right choice for myself and gave my life back. Dr Matsumoto was very kind , and approachable. He personally answered all questions and responded quickly to all communications no matter the time of day . I could not have expected better treatment or follow ups . He does what he says and inspires confidence . Thank You Dr Matsumoto , I wished all were like yourself .
Dr Matsumoto has been my urologist for many years, and I started to see him when my BPH levels began climbing. Medication helped in the beginning but last year the urge to void was met with a weak stream. Dr Matsumoto clearly explained the options and risks, on dealing with my enlarged prostate, and Rezum was the best less evasive procedure. I am 87 years old and a resident of North Vancouver. I received TURPS treatment by Vancouver urologist about 18 -20 years ago. It was overnight stay at St.Joseph hospital . My memory was not so pleasant. Then my prostate gradually became larger again and I was given more pills to cope with but the frequncy of ulination became untolerable. A great experience from start to finish. If I was a "20" before, where "0" means emergency catheterization, I am an "80+" now where "100" is a teenager writing his name in the snow. No post-op pain. Output went from 100-150mL from before to 400-500mL about 1 month after. Improved sleep patterns & no more uncontrollable urges are other obvious benefits.
