The staff member who collected my blood sample was a tall younger woman with light-colored eyes. wearing her hair up. From the beginning of the interaction until the end, her attitude was cold, unpleasant, and unprofessional. Her demeanor made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a patient. I understand that healthcare workers can have demanding days. However, patients should never feel unwelcome or be subjected to an attitude that lacks basic courtesy and professionalism. They have introduced a computerized, automated queue system for waiting patients. When you submit your care card/requisition form, you will be entered into the system. You can see your position in the queue and the estimated wait time on a big display while waiting. You can also go outside instead of waiting there, because you will get a message on your mobile when your turn is in 10 minutes. It's very efficient and convenient.
