In the past two weeks I have had to take in a urine sample for C&S for a bladder infection. I had a requisition for the first sample and a labelled sample which I placed in their urine box (which by the way is unrefrigerated - this will produce compromised samples for this testing) I had not heard from my Doctor about the results but started antibiotics anyway. Danacare location at 2000 Eglinton Ave, staff needs how to deal with customer, staff who take the blood no better either I.e lack training. It’s APP for which they charge money is poor doesn’t work often. Online booking app is equally bad and doesn’t often. I would rate poor at best.
I went to the lab today for my regular blood test and was given the worst service by a male tech. I sat down, he gave me back my health card, and I was putting in my purse, when he yelled, "are you listening to me". I told him very calmly that I was putting my card in my purse, and he walked out, and called another patient's name, leaving me sitting there. I find the lab at st Mary’s location in Winnipeg clinic to be disorganized .many techs repeating the work and questions being repeated from different techs over and over .Also one lab tech repeatedly kept asking my mother ..about the urine test ,did you pee did you pee ? My mother clearly understands what the little bottle is for .? One lab tech bellowing at everyone to have their their health cards ready !!! I have hard viens to find, most lab technitions have a hard time and quite often need to give it more than 1 try. Suzete at the Peachland Lab, is very experienced and gets it with first poke everytime. You Thank so much Suzete for making it as stressless as possible. Bryce
