I have a huge fear of needles/blood I had been advised during a fainting episode at another clinic that I should request a butterfly needle. I asked the nurse at this location and was told they were expensive and hard find. Funny enough today, I had blood taken at my home and she quite willingly pulled out a butterfly needle. Patient first, needle 2nd. I will never go back to Dynacare in Courtice
This place has rude front desk staff and retraining is highly recommended. My first visit was fine up until saying “bye” where I was just met with stares. This morning I went back because my urine test was missed! I let the lady at the front desk know and she looked at me like I was incompetent and it was my fault. Rudely, she said, “Ok? Do you have a health card?”. I proceeded to give her my health card and she said, “your dr didn’t ask for a urine”. I told her I had received a call and an email about it. Honey was the technician who took my blood today and she was excellent. I was honestly expecting at least a little pinch or a flinch, but I didn’t feel anything at all. She was very gentle and professional, which made the whole process quick and comfortable. I’ve honestly never had a bad experience with Dynacare, and this visit was no exception. Thank you, Honey, for making what most people find stressful feel so easy.
I went to Dynacare Lab in Courtice on Mon Jan 19th-for routine blood work.After my Doctor s appointment went downstairs so no preplanned online appointment waited 15mins before it was my turn.The lady who took my blood was Diane she was pleasant,personable and made getting my blood taken a smooth pleasant experience. I told her, she deserved a 5 star rating for her fast and friendly service!
