Spacious and relaxing camp ground for the long weekend. Close to Melbourne
Lovely little spot for camping in the Bunyip area. Well maintained fire pits, accessible toilets and plenty of firewood in the area. Black Snake Creek runs through the campground. Watch out for black snakes around the creek banks and spitfires on the trees /ground. Parking area off black snake creek road. No mobile reception, need to drive north up the road for about 10-15 mins
Bike touring in the area. Nice place to stop. Toilet provided but bring your own drinking water and firewood for the provided fire pits. Beware, do not camp beneath the tall trees. A massive deadly bough dropped randomly, very close to us last evening. Scary.
Nice place for fun and family enjoyment butnot dog friendly
