Saw Dr D at Eyeglass world this past August. He examined 4 of my family members. When I got my glasses I couldn’t see. I had a horrible headache and nausea. Asked him to recheck me and he flat out acted like I was lying, and said he got it right keep wearing the glasses. Needless to say I Have a completely new prescription and he still will not acknowledge he was wrong. He also misdiagnosed my 5 year old son, and I ended up having to retest my whole family after seeing him, we will never be back.
Gordon Dyer works at Eyeglass World in Albuquerque now. He wrote me a prescription that made my vision extremely distorted, gave me a severe headache, nausea, and set my right eye to severely twitching and felt like my right eye was straining badly. I went back in after a week and he was defensive, not apologetic at all, tried to convince me nothing was wrong... Yet he wrote a new prescription that was 1/3 the strength of the first prescription. Really thankful for Dr. Dyer. I had a retinal detachment. I knew something was wrong and wanted a second opinion so I scheduled an appointment with him. I won't name the doctor that misdiagnosed me in town because I don't want to cause hardship for anybody. Dr. Dyer knew what was wrong with my left eye before he even dilated me. After putting the drops in my eye to confirm his suspicion, his office assistant Kay booked me an emergency appointment with a retinal specialist in Roswell. Thank you!
