Dr Dyer is phenomenal. I was so nervous getting my anesthesia then he came over and talked to me. This has been a great journey. I definitely recommend him. I picked him instead of having surgery in my hometown.
Bedside manner is terrible. Doesn't listen and constantly talking over you. Unwilling to get to the root of issues. It takes so much to get under my skin but this man's attitude is so off putting. Makes me question why I went with him. Do better and listen
He is the BEST. I couldn't ask for a better physician! Gay and Margo always are friendly! Best atmosphere ever!!
Insurance left me withbfew options. Before surgery I saw him once where he read a flip chart w he th redundant info from the webinar I had watched. Day of surgery 3 hours late. No explanation. No care in the world. Beside manner is the worst. Spent 3 days in the hospital, saw him a total of 8 minutes. Morning check ins went like this..."did you drink enough water? " "No, I'm in so muh pain it hurts to swallow" "Alright, not going home today, see ya tomorrow." Then he left till the next day.

Dr. Dyer is awesome! He and his staff are very caring and listen to your concerns. He is very thorough as well as very knowledgeable about what he does. If you listen to him you will get the results you want! Thanks Dr. Dyer for everything!
Dr. Dyer did my gastric by-pass in June, 2015 and I weighed in at 278 lbs at 5' 10". As of Jan 2017 I have lost 155 lbs, am a size 4 (first time ever!) and have a normal BMI, no longer diabetic and no more meds . Not only is Dr. Dyer a miracle worker but the program that he provides really works. You can not fail with this team as your support system. With a dietitian and exercise physiologist at your disposal whenever you need them - that is the team you want on your side!
I would have loved to try and see Dr. Dyer for a consult to see if pursuing Bariatric Surgery was the right decision for me but this office won't even schedule a consult visit until you are approved for the surgery. When I called and spoke with Holly I stated that I would like to come in for the consult to even see if the surgery was something I wanted to pursue. I work in a specialty practice myself and never have I heard that you can't have the consult before the surgery is approved.
