Our furnace stopped working over the weekend, and we were told it needed to be replaced. We decided to get a second opinion from Dyand Mechanical, and the very next day they came out, checked everything over, and were able to repair it instead. Huge thanks to Dustin and James for saving the day—and saving my wallet too!
I can't say enough about the incredibly positive experience that we received from Dyand on December 20th. We noticed that our furnace wasn't working just after midnight. I went downstairs to check it and saw that there was a sticker from Dyand on the furnace, and a couple of other service companies' stickers from over the years. A man named Murray, their on-call service expert, phoned me back in about 15 minutes. Called to see if they had my furnace filter in stock which they did. Asked parts person on phone what time they close, she said 5PM, drove from one end of the city all the way down to other end during a snow blitz only to find out they already closed at 4:30 PM. Not open on Saturday either. STUPID HOURS! If you're a home owner you would have to go to this place on your day off. Better off just buying from Amazon or Home Depot.
Mel and the installation crew nailed it. We have been having furnace problems for the better part of 5 years with a bad install from another company. They sized it properly, addressed some other inefficiencies, and now it runs absolutely perfect. I cam travel in peace without worrying my house is going to freeze over. Thanks guys.
