I wouldn’t trust the validity of a museum that appears to function as a partisan body and fires its director for not acting like a Trump-hack.
What was easily one of the best presidential library and museums has allowed itself to be turned into a partisan tool, with the very staff who made it a great honor to Ike fired for refusing to engage in unethical behavior at the behest of the current DC crowd.
The environment has turned very negative at the museum.
As someone who has enjoyed this museum with family on multiple occasions, I am appalled that they would force out Mr. Arrington for doing his job. Your a museum honoring a Man who fought to protect against this kind of behavior. Shame
Our artifacts are not to be given to visitors. Period. Laying off someone who respects that. Is unacceptable. We own those artifacts. It’s not a bonus cash item to be given. Whomever enforced this. Needs to be removed from their job. American speaking. No ill will. Just the honest truth. Pathetic.
