What a lovely spot for an accommodation! The beautiful Dutchies beach literally on your doorstep. Super convenient location, within walking distance to the town centre and the room is great too.

Close proximity to the beach and 10 minute walk to town, and quiet was the best feature about this motel. Unfortunately room 5 had a strong musky smell, the ward drobe was not positioned well creating poor air flow and blokage. The bed mattress was old, lopsided, and so uncomfortable (when there is a mattress topper on top of a mattress, that's a give away of a bad mattress). The owners need to invest in a new mattress. Best motel in Nelson Bay :) Located by the beach, very quiet area away from the town center, but easy and serene walk to the town. Rooms are smaller size, but very comfy and clean and have everything You need. Doesn't have aircon, but has ceiling fan and nice breeze coming from the windows, so lack of A/C didn't bother us at all. Check in was super easy and staff there is lovely. We can't wait to be back! :)
