This is what a Local Bike Shop (LBS) should be. I started off as a total newb but Ronnie (and Frans) treat me just like anyone else and give me great advice. It would be easy to up-sell but Ronnie is as honest as they come - when I asked him what bar tape he uses, he didn't say the $30 Specialized but rather, whatever they have in stock. Great service! Friendly faces! Always an exciting time when I go, just got a new bike recently and it's perfect, they have such a great selection! And fair prices! If you're looking for a place to get a bike, make this your first stop! You get exactly what you want and of course you'll be able to shop Local! :) 5 stars for sure!
We've been buying bikes from, and having them serviced by, Frans and Ronnie for more than 10 years. I'd never go anywhere else. You won't find a better bike shop than The Dutch Wheelman! We stopped in to buy my son a new bike this weekend and they built one for him while we waited. Then they took the time to make sure we understood all its features. Cannot recommend them strongly enough.
Wouldn't shop for bike any where else. Very helpful and knowledgeable . Great place check it out.
