Merle was very upfront , uses great subs. We went to 4 others builders and felt Dutch Legacy offered us the most. Have been in our home aprox 1 and half years , had a couple things after moving in that needed attention. Merle has taken care of our needs, even taken care of some things himself. Love our Dutch Legacy Home.
I am not a direct customer of Dutch Legacy Homes. I did buy a Dutch Legacy Home that was under a year old. The home already has a leaky basement. If you buy a Dutch Legacy Home and you are not the original customer you are on your own even if it is brand new. It's very disappointing since I paid 275k for this house and I will be paying on it for 30 years. I really didn't expect to have these issues on a brand new home. We have been in our house for 8 years. Fortunately no problems. No complaints after all these years.
The guy I met was helpful and friendly. We're likely having them build our home as soon as we're ready. Pricey, but given I move my stuff in and have to do nothing else once they're done with the build, I can't imagine anyone beating their prices. They will customize their cookie cutter designs to your liking. Can't ask for much more.
