D The BBQ was bad, but not as bad as the rude staff!!! Sad....
Highly recommend for catering Dustin's did a fabulous job with our catering order for a group of 60. The chicken, pulled pork and bean were all great and enjoyed by all. They deliver catering which is real plus and also can have it ready early (10:15 am) which in our case was a great help. Well done, Dustin's, & thank you!
Dustin's Bar-B-Q is not what it was. About a year and a half ago, the food quality got better but the staff now seems lifeless. They need younger people, they just seem tired. Not as friendly as they were. The big Dustin's Burger is good. For the ribs, you need to order the special cut. They finally got wings, those are ok, but the chicken is always dry.
Dustin's Bar-B-Q was a Bad Experience. Went in with an open mind for first time around the first week or two in August. I ordered a chicken and rib platter. The chicken came out dry. The spare ribs were even drier. DRY RIBS! More like eating beef jerky. No moisture or glaze-look. I ate the chicken and asked to have some pulled pork instead of the ribs. Decent barbeque Basic BBQ restaurant, nothing fancy, friendly service, decent pulled pork. Fried okra is really good and they cook it to order. We do take out sometimes and we have found that the wait time is pretty short.
I lived in Kansas City, Home and King of BBQ Dustins is a great restaurant for several reasons. #1 their food is great and #2 they have a great staff. I lived in K.C. and the bbq there is hard to beat. Dustins truly meets or beats any bbq in K.C. They have a very warm and inviting staff, and you want to come back just to see them as well. Good barbeque Staff is always friendly and quick. The dining area is clean and the salad bar always in great shape. The food is great and plenty of it. The sauces are ok.

used to be great but no more portions had been getting smaller, now they have new menus, made things additional, no lunch specials, AND raised prices. Way to chase off business!!!!
