I saw Dr. Massel in the office regarding my back pain. He was the ultimate professional, while being warm and approachable. His sound advice made me feel comfortable and I knew that I could trust his opinion. Dr. Massel spoke to me with kindness and respect, which made me feel extremely supported. I would recommend Dr. Massel to anyone who suffers from back pain.
Dr Massel is an exceptional doctor and surgeon. He listened to my issues and concerns and answered my questions with both information and compassion. My back surgery was successful and has left me pain free. He and his staff are amazing!

I was having difficulty walking and had developed dropped foot. So I felt like I was walking with a swimming flipper on one foot. Dr. Massel and Nurse Pearl were Awesome. Caring and Compassionate. I was fortunate to regain my dropped foot back after surgery and the help of PT. I would definitely choose Dr. Massel and his team again but no offense I hope I don’t have too.
Dr. Massel is the absolute best and a rare find! He’s an incredible surgeon who is as compassionate as he is talented. I’d be willing to sacrifice some of the former in order to be treated by a top surgeon, but with Dr. Massel, you get it all- a surgeon who listens and treats you as an individual while also getting the best of the best in the OR.
