I cannot say enough great things about the Durham VA Health Care System. I am 50 years old and have been treated by many VA and civilian doctors over the years — and I can honestly say Dr. Suggs is the best doctor I have ever had in my life. Dr. John Villani treated me with the utmost respect and professionalism. I was seen quickly and received efficient, thorough care. He took the time to listen to all of my concerns and ensured I was properly anesthetized with enough lidocaine for an effective nerve block. The staff really care about the veterans here.
Dental clinic only. If I could leave a zero rating I would. Overworked and understaffed. They can barely answer the phone in a timely manner. Husband is 100% disabled and they tell me they cannot service him. Been back and for between them and Care in Community to try to obtain authorization for his treatment in the local community. Ridiculous. When we lived in TN he had no problem getting dental care from the VA as he is entitled to.
