I work for a providers office who offers personal and respite care for patients. We frequently receive referrals from Durham, which are usually missing pertinent information. Calling is an absolute nightmare. Long hold times and when you get a person who does not feel like doing their job, they just send you back to the main menu. That just happened to me (not the first time) which is what prompted me to leave a review. Sad that we can’t have competent people caring for our veterans.

Trying to seek help for myself, was told by a provider "veterans who workout vigorously have less symptoms"... That would be nice ya know, if I could workout vigorously and I wasn't disabled?!?!?!?!

I am from Texas and my father in law is from North Carolina. I came to North Carolina to help care take for him. He had an infection and we knew it was time to go in. The staff we endured were amazing helpful and kept you up to date on when we would be taken back in the ER. It was nice to see a great level of care given to him and me! Very refreshing to know there are good professionals here.

Ever since 2020 this clinic and all va clinics I've been to in NC are garbage. Horrible Horrible Horrible service. No one wants to answer the phone, no one wants to communicate properly at ypir Dr's office, no wants to process your travel pay, no one wants to return your phone calls or voicemails in patient advocacy or Dr clinic, care in the community doesn't care about you receiving your care outside the va in a timely manner.
