Used to be a great place to find bargains and donate to a worthy cause at the same time. But in the past year or so, their pricing structure must have changed, because prices on most things are insanely high. Often used items, are priced near retail as if new! I have drastically reduced my visits to the Durham mission thrift store, just because of their prices. See the attached two pictures of a small sample of ridiculous pricing on a used shredder and radio. Just laughable.
They have such an awesome staff and everything you buy.Here goes to a very good ministry.Please give the. a try.You won't be disappointed.
I’ve lived here in Brier Creek for 9 years, and the Reacue Mission thrift store is always my go to before I go the new retail routes. I bought 2 coats, left there and went straight to the cleaners, changed the buttons design and received numerous compliments on them. I use to donate to the Goodwill but decided to only donate the the mission store because they give back, and their prices are not outrageous. Whenever I have pickups, the gentlemen are always pleasant and most respectable. I send all my friends there.
My favorite thrift store anywhere, juat wish I lived closer.
