stupidly "repaired" a friend of mine's garage. put 1/3 2x4's to help with faux termite damage. total cost overcharge for the quality of work done..total scammers, in my opinion

I was in touch with Carl for a week by email regarding a project. We were exchanging emails about every 24 hours. Without explanation, Carl stopped responding and didn't return my phone calls. A couple emails later, he let me know he had a family thing and would be back next week. A week later, I emailed and called, but never heard back from Carl. Durham Remodeling's work came from a recommendation and may be quality, but they ghosted me on this job unfortunately.

I had Carl come out to give me a quote on putting up coverings for my soffits and fascia, as well as making several repairs to the old shake on my house. He promptly came out and got me a quote (very reasonably costed). The crew that came out were very courteous, both professionally, and cleaning up after themselves, and the work they did was of a high quality. I will definitely reach back out to this company for any future home improvement needs.
