Durham OB-Gyn has taken amazing care of me for 5+ years- I have been to many, many appointments here, as I had three pregnancies/babies with their practice. I have met most (maybe all) of the providers, and love all of them dearly! They are passionate about their work, communicative, smart, skilled, thorough, experienced, and just so incredibly devoted to their patients. Ellen Byars is a rockstar! She exudes warmth, charisma, knowledge and competence. She genuinely listens to your concerns and makes sure all questions are thoroughly answered during appointments. Additionally, she’s responsive to messages between appointments - a unicorn in today's medical system. She even prints out chart notes with detailed additional info so you have documentation of your visit and can read up on any issues addressed in your appointment. Three cheers for Ellen Byars!
I drove an hour just to come here because nowhere in my area had appointment's and it was worth every minute. I recommend this place!! I had doctor Jarvis and there was a student doctor as well, she did amazing and I felt very comfortable with all the women there. Everyone was so nice and helpful as this was my first time ever going to an OBGYN! Thank you for taking me seriously and giving me the correct medicine I needed. I was struggling for weeks going to several different doctors.
