I called 6 - 7 times trying to reach someone. No one answered, left a few messages. Never heard back from anyone. Could not reach anyone for 3 - 4 hours. Great concept, a distress line in which you cannot reach anyone. If you need help, I would look elsewhere, if you call this number, you are wasting your time. I had distress just trying to reach them. Clearly, they do not care.

I have experience from two separate workers. The first person to help me during the first year sent me a text stating they would be away for a week and call me when back. The person didn't. And I was left with exactly the same issues + more. To deal with on my own. Second person to help me. Was extremely ignorant of disabilities. Would schedule a time and not call somtimes or cancel alot due to her reasons. . Once blame me for not calling her when she clearly said would call me. I was kicked out of this shelter without an identified reason, asked to leave with no place to go and I was severely mentally unwell. While I was living there a worker came with me to my family doctor other than that I had no help with my mental stability. No one offered to try and help me apply for ODSP which I was eligible for. It was find housing while your mentally ill in the next week or get out.
