The service is amazing at the Marriott. All the employees were phenomenal. Rooms and amenities are clean. Walking distance to great restaurants.
Staff was great, rooms exceptionally clean and right in the heart of Durham.
The hotel is under FULL construction. Nobody can breathe. We booked this hotel (2 rooms) for family weekend at Duke. My husband stayed there three weeks ago and stated that the construction was not only loud but caused considerable dust. In fact, he was sent to three different rooms to find one that was not under construction. Because we are staying with our older parents (one recently recovered from a major illness and is also asthmatic), we had to cancel.
