Extremely disappointing decision by DCDSB to remain open during a severe snowstorm while nearly all other school boards closed for safety. Roads were hazardous and families were put in an unnecessary position of choosing between safety and attendance. Student and staff well-being should come before optics or technicalities. This lack of alignment with neighboring boards shows poor judgment and disregard for community safety.
