We chatted while he got started, he petted my cat, and, oh yes, fixed my freezer issue! He (Mr Ty) came out to fix my fridge and was professional from start to finish — polite, respectful, and completely honest about what needed to be done. There was no pressure, no upselling, just clear communication and quality work. My fridge is running perfectly now, and it's clear he takes real pride in doing the job right. I called Durham Appliance Thrift and Repair: what happened next will shock you. I called and was treated very politely. It wasn't some random call center, but rather a very nice lady who was very helpful. I called regarding a newish refrigerator/freezer which had stopped cooling.
