Won't call me back mid job!
Way too expensive. They quoted about $780 to replace two valves and re-hook-up a washing machine. I paid them the $149 visit fee they charge and called Cape Cod Mechanical Systems. They've done good work at reasonable rates...
I initially had a positive experience with Durfee Plumbing & Heating of South Dennis, MA. Sadly, what happened next was gross overcharging, unscrupulous pricing and unprofessional customer service. Phil, the owner, was able to resolve our AC issues promptly and charged us $550 after a half day of work. Have done multiple jobs for us with fair prices and punctual service.
Outrageous pricing. Had team out (3 guys were sent) to replace three toilets and three faucets all of which I supplied. One of toilets turned out to be damaged. I paid for work that could be done. Called them back when replacement toilet arrived. Again three guys arrived. They were here for approximately 45 min and charged me $616.22 to install one toilet. No complications. Buyer beware.
