I have been using Durbin Bennett to manage my investments for many years. They are exceedingly honest and very responsive. I am very appreciative that they can speak at a high level or get down to the nitty gritty details depending on your investment experience (I have a lot of financial/investment experience through my work life but my spouse has little). Sharpest investment advisers in Central Texas. As an experienced financial professional and a professor of finance, I'm wary of the advice I get from anyone claiming to have better/more investment insight than me; those interactions usually turn out... poorly. I was a customer for over 6 years, they did very little to help me achieve my financial goals and put me many times in expensive funds causing fees on fees and further hurting my ROI. I went through 4 different advisers during my time. They are not worth the fees they charge, you would do better investing in the S&P and/or a robo-advisor. Be cautious when hiring any financial adviser!!
