I do not recommend Durant school system. They are inconsiderate on icy which we have snow days for they still make children go to school and the are selfish when it comes to the less fortunate children and parent's when it come to enrollment online. We literally have to enroll every single year!!! The superintendent let's bullying happen and doeant do anything about it. The entire school system sucks. They also would rather kids drive to school when it’s icy out than take a snow day.
RecommendedOur family loves Durant ISD! All of the teachers have been FANTASTIC!! The school administrators and staff are also amazing. You can tell how much they enjoy their job and want to invest in the lives of the children.

Not that I am partial to Durant Public Schools but I am because my son William Hoffman is a teacher there!
Cares about dress codes more than education.
