It takes a special kind of person to do this work, since it is so personal and in a vulnerable area of your body, your belly! Lesley is that person. She has a soothing and friendly demeanor, and she is very professional. I am happy to know that this important therapy is provided in my area, and even happier that it is by someone who is so attuned and passionate about her work.

Lesley creates a calm, grounded healing space with time and attention spent first on deeply listening and dropping into a truly supported therapeutic envelope where I believe true healing occurs. Her hands-on work continued the unfolding and offered a deeply relaxing series of soft-tissue releases. As I said to a friend I ran into after my session with Lesley, “ I have new legs!” I will recommend her work and I will return for more sessions.

I’m glad to have found Maya Abdominal Therapy to help with my problems in the abdominal and low back areas. Leslie’s presence and kindness, together with gentle but deep work, along with therapies at home, changed all that, and my life. Mayan abdominal massage is something all women should learn and incorporate into their daily lives. Lesley is a skilled, gentle, compassionate practitioner and teacher and I highly recommend her to any woman who is having mensural cramping or irregularities or infertility.
