Thank you for your response to my first review. If the reason for the long wait time just for a nail clipping was explained by your staff, I would have certainly understood. But, you cannot explain away your staff being rude, unprofessional, and sneering at me. You got one star from me only because you exist. Do not reply to my review again. You cannot easily explain away total rudeness on the part of your part. Good Bye. I found a REAL Vet service today to care for my little Yorkie!

Omg!! These people are horrible!! Save yourself time and money and run!! I will NEVER bring a loved one to this vet again. Please save your loved one from the insensitive people in this place.

This place is ridiculous! Don’t go here unless you wanna wait FOREVER. I was on hold outside the vet to check in and they answered the phone to someone who just walked up before me. They checked them in first and let them be serviced first before me even after I complained. The staff doesn’t care and are rude they basically said oh you just have to keep waiting. I had an appt and the other was a walk up. Fuck this place I’d give no stars if I could.

Beware that if you write a review critical of Durango Animal Hospital, Travis McDermott will state, as he did to me: "it is my hospital and I can do anything I want to" (sic) and dishcharge you from needed pet care. This morning was the second bad experience I had. My first was about one month ago. I was told we could not get an appointment, but to walk-in. We did. We waited close to three (3) hours due to vet emergencies. I made an appointment to drop off our Beagle, Odin this morning for dental care, anal draining, and nail clipping. I was told that there was a special for Dental cleaning of $145. TL:DR Leaving Durango Animal Hospital is like a sad break up. You don't wish them ill, you just come to the point where you realize that they cannot meet your expectations. I brought my dog initially because I'd never had a dog and they were down the street from my apartment at the time. That was 8 years ago.
