My appointment lasted under five minutes, with no vitals taken and no proper examination. The doctor focused on blood tests that did not align with my symptoms, and I felt this was due to my sexuality rather than my clinical presentation. I deteriorated later that day and ended up in hospital, where I was properly diagnosed and started on appropriate treatment.
