I have purchased a 1/2 cable with plastic core and really didn't last more than 1 month with no more than 5 uses. The problem is the cable developed a memory and it coils when retrieved. Could be defective steel or bad spring, I don't know. Contacted customer service in regards and nothing was done, they didn't really showed any concern regarding the product.
