We hired Duo con Brio for our wedding. Corey was very easy to work with and helpful when we had questions. The musicians the day of were amazing. The music was so good! It really took our ceremony to the next level.

As an adult student just learning the cello (60ish years old), for basically the first time, Corey Avrill has been fantastic! He is patient, very knowledgeable (can play/teach many string instruments), kind and has a good sense of humor. He challenges his students to try new things, sets up groups for students to get experience playing in an ensemble and offers an opportunity to play in front of an audience during the two recitals scheduled each year. Since moving to Oregon in 2020 during COVID-19 pandemic, our daughter has been studying cello with Corey, and we truly could not have asked for a better teacher. During such a difficult and uncertain time, he found creative and engaging ways to continue teaching and helping our daughter stay connected to music.
