We took our cat here when we first got her, about 6 years ago. Had an issue with throwing up her chow that had traces of blood in it. Vet suggested we supplement/mix her regular chow with a high protein prescription dry food. So we did and have been since, at a cost of $40 per small bag over 6 years, that's a lot of $40+ over the 6 years. Issue of throwing up, blood especially stopped with the high protein food mixed in.
