They've Got It All Dunn Hardware, while it may seem small on the outside, is one of the most reliable places for home repair needs. They have so many paints to choose from and cards to find the right color. When they mix up the paint for you, it will look exactly like what the swatch/booklet promised. At Home Depot, the color they made up looked much different than what the swatch showed, and we lost $50 on paint that looked hideous on our walls. That has never happened to us at Dunn Hardware. Great place This place looks small, but has all the things we needed. We could find parts in Lowe's or Home Depot, but Dunn's had all of it. Their customer service is excellent and people are always very friendly and ready to help, unlike others where you keep walking aisle after aisle to find something and nobody ever shows up to help!
Hard to find stuff, but you pay for it They definitely have the hard to find stuff, but I find the employees rude. I think they expect only professionals in there. If you don't understand what they are talking about, they look at you like you are an idiot. Also, the cashiers come across like you are bothering them. For a quick in and out trip, then this will work, otherwise, go to the bigger chains.
Dunn hardware Dunn Harware is a small and friendly neighborhood hardware store, it has a good location iwth easy access, the employyes are helpful,but their selection is limited and their prices are higher than other stores such as Home Depot.
Stuff you don't find at the big box This place is great for items you can't find at Home Depot or Lowes. Especially for many older homes in the area built i the 50s that have odd siezes of things or just things they don't use in newer homes. The staff is knowledgeable and a good resource. Their selection of common things is more sparse than the big boys and prices higher, but a must for other things.
