A pleasant surprise – clean, quiet, and great hospitality We were looking for a last-minute place to stay in Goderich during the long weekend, and everything seemed to be fully booked. At first, I was hesitant about staying in a motel, but we were lucky to get the last available room at Dunlop Motel—and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise! Called and wanted to ask some questions. An individual who knows very little english answered and could not understand my simple questions. What a joke. Not interested.
Nice clean motel. Bed was great, but the room was small.
Super friendly owner. Place was comfortable and very clean. Would absolutely stay again.
Our stay at the Dunlop was great! Owners are extremely nice people who were willing to stay up and accommodate a very late check in. Very helpful and attentive. Unfortunately there was a scheduled hydro outage on the last morning of our stay, and the owner went around to all rooms to give them jugs of water and make sure they were aware the day before. Immaculately kept lawns, property, and rooms. It is a bit off the path of shops and things to do, but if you have a car you're good. I'm sure we'll be back.
