I am having a very painfull uti so I call and schedule a same day appointment and the lady tells me I have 30 minutes to be there so I rush pack up my 4 month and 4 year old becauae I cant take the pain. And when I get there they tell me she scheduled it for tomorrow and there is nothing they can do for me! So I call back the scheduling people in tears because im hurting so much. I absolutely love Dr. Dunkelberger, B U T since he joined this new multi-doctor clinic things have spiraled downwards. Asking for a refill takes at least 6 phone calls. As for reaching him - it takes an elite special services unit to help me contact him. They guard him like we are the enemy. We are his patients.
I really liked Dr Dunkelburger and I am picky with my Doctor, as you should be. However, I was forced to find another Doctor by his staff. We were changing insurance, I called the office to make sure what we decided on was accepted. I was told everything was good. On my next appointment I was told that they don't accept my insurance. I was very upset that no one in the office bothered to contact me, but even more upset that I had called to verify they accepted it. Great empathetic doc who takes the time to talk to you and make sure you understand what to do. Also, nice office help that helps you quickly and efficiently. Very glad I found them!
This doctor's office, Dr. George Dunkelberger, is impossible to get a hold of by telephone. Every time I call, and I mean every time, I get connected with a call center and I have to leave a message for Dunkelberger's office to call me back; sometimes they call me back and sometimes they do not. Also, they charged me $95 to see the nurse practitioner; two weeks later I got another bill for $45 because the nurse practitioner said "she spent a lot of time with me" and upped my bill.
