Our family has stayed at Dunes Village on a few occasions. We've always stayed in the South Tower. However this stay we were placed in the North Tower. We choose DV Mainly because we have 2 children and the waterpark is a given. The reason for our current visit was our sons birthday. However, this will be our last time staying here. We paid over $700 for our stay and we are disgusted & disappointed to say the least. As soon as we walked into our suite it smelled like marijuana and cigarettes, the carpet was wet, mold surroun... read more

Checking in on a Friday night and took the kids swimming, a 3 and 6 year old. We have been coming here for 3 years every winter multiple times. I am not sure if management or staff has changed but there is a major disregard to what goes on here as long as they get there money now. Our water Friday night was cold so we got no showers. The pool area had people from other hotel in it and when I informed the staff they said they would check it out. Saturday night we go back down to the pool and the same people are there, 28 of t... read more

Started our stay off by unloading the car. My wife was trying to do this as I checked us in . With two baby's and the valet just sat there on his phone the whole time not offering to help in any way seeing her struggle . When I asked him why he didn't offer he immediately got defensive and caused a scene so I got management and they handled it . About 3 weeks after my stay they call and say there was a tear in the couch and had already charged me 50$. I did not tear the couch and if I had I would have let them know . It is a... read more

Business response:

I have checked our reports and I do not show any complaints from this guest about their stay or notes unfortunately. I have checked on the information regarding the couch that was damaged during their stay. Our management team attempted to contact them from the day that they checked out 2.16.20 until we were finally able to reach them on 2.28.020 to let them know about the fee we were putting on their credit card for the damage. We try never to put a charge on someone's credit card, unless we are able to speak with them expl... read more

Won't be going back to this resort. After an extended stay in the NICU after giving birth to our little girl at 30 weeks weighing lb 15oz June 2017. She was released 104 days later on oxygen and a monitor which she stayed on until May. With all the stress emotionally and financially we were beyond ready for a vacation. We would have to wait till May 2019. Looking forward to this trip and my sister's 20 year vow renewal at the beach. I booked a 2 bedroom OCEANFRONT ROOM. When we arrived I asked to make sure this was Oceanfron... read more

LOVE IT!! – was a little weary of booking the hotel since the pictures on the website looked so outdated, but was so happy at check in to find the hotel is further up the beach, away from the noise and traffic near the boardwalk. The hotel was clean, the front desk was helpful in recommending restaurants and giving directions. The room was spacious, with 2 flat screen TVs and 2 dressers, more than enough for a traveling couple. The hotel is family friendly, with daily activities for the kids to keep the busy. They even had a... read more

Dunes Village Resort is great for Spring Break We went to Dunes Village for Spring Break and it was awesome. My kids are 12 and 10 and they both loved it. They have an indoor water park, so even if the weather isn't nice, you can still have fun swimming. THe people that work there were very nice too. For Spring Break, I would highly recommend it.

Dunes Village Resort is Awesome! I have 3 kids very young in age and we just recently visited here. I LOVED it!! They have 2 indoor water parks. Appropriate for all ages. My 2 year old even when down the slides. There is a craft time everyday as well. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. The food in the other restaurants was good as well. Great location! Great for families. Very clean and nice rooms. I like the extended balcony as well because I did not have to worry as much about the kids being out there :)

Great for a ladies weekend away! I recently visited the Dunes Village Resort with about 11 other women for a weekend away. We rented several of the 4 bedroom, ocean front condos and we were pleasantly surprised. The condos were large with full size kitchens and large dining room table. The living room was a nice size with a pull-out sofa bed. Each bedroom, expect one, had a private balcony and the there was a large balcony off of the living room with an ocean view. There were 3 large bathrooms, included one with a jetted tub... read more
