Ann Marie Santos was good for the couple of years she was my therapist, but spontaneously left and I was switched to Joan Trifone. This person should really not be assigned patients dealing with grief in any capacity. When I told her my friend since middle school succumbed to suicide less than a week prior to that visit, her response was along the lines of “ohhh man!! Been seeing Melissa for a year now and I’m feeling much better with where I am to where I was. Would recommend her to anyone! If you don’t feel like a therapist is working for you, find another. Therapy is a wonderful outlet.
As I began to cry and open up in the middle of my first therapy session ever, I was told I had to leave and we couldn’t continue because I was in a car accident and going through legal proceedings. Literally in the middle of me sharing and breaking down completely, I was asked to leave. I was escorted to the door while I continued to cry harder. Starting seeing Dr. Jill Gardner recently and she’s been great. She’s kind, patient and listens with genuine concern. She’s been really helpful so far. I look forward to our sessions.
