Been seeing Melissa for a year now and I’m feeling much better with where I am to where I was. Would recommend her to anyone! If you don’t feel like a therapist is working for you, find another. Therapy is a wonderful outlet.
As I began to cry and open up in the middle of my first therapy session ever, I was told I had to leave and we couldn’t continue because I was in a car accident and going through legal proceedings. Literally in the middle of me sharing and breaking down completely, I was asked to leave. I was escorted to the door while I continued to cry harder. Starting seeing Dr. Jill Gardner recently and she’s been great. She’s kind, patient and listens with genuine concern. She’s been really helpful so far. I look forward to our sessions.
Counselor AnneMarie Santos not only shows up late for appointment, but also refuses to wear a mask during session. FYI, my session was to help with my stress due being an essential worker during the pandemic and the therapist knew that in advance. Just a friendly heads up, "THE PANDEMIC IS NOT OVER"! It's incredibly unprofessional to stress your patience out by not wearing a face mask in a small office without social distancing. Do yourself a favor and find another place. This one needs to screen their counselors better.
