Thanks all for the reviews. We had planned to rent skis for the kids today from this company, but not after reading these.
Went out for a jet ski trip and nothing was too memorable. They did make us wait for an hour for another party to come in, although we had called ahead and made a reservation. The interior is barren, and it looks like they have no intention of keeping it any way but barebones
I don’t recommend this Groupon for the following reasons: It took 1 year to get the rental scheduled because rain dates are 4 weeks out to rescheduled and if you book after October, they close down till February of the following year and then with limited schedule. It took me 6 appoint to finally get to go. The place is located by the sponge docks on the Anclote river and it takes a 20 min wake (2 miles/hr) to get pillon 29 where you can go full throttle. Stay far, far away from this place! They are now using the Tarpon Springs Watersports location for unknown reasons--perhaps violations? The person who instructs with the waverunners is EXTREMELY nasty, aggressive and unprofessional. Half way through my outing, my waverunner broke down and I had to call for assistance. I was told to go into the water and look underneath to see if there was a seaweed clog. My husband could not find anything and we called them back. Don't give these guys any of your business! We had called them in advance to make a reservation. The lady was nice on the phone, and we arranged for a date and time to use our Amazon Local deal. But when we got out there, the place was closed! We talked to a guy at the marina who called them. We called them. Repeatedly. They never even answered the phone.
