Went in had chills and a fever at the same time I was 10/10 sick. Reception lady looked like she didn’t even want me to walk in. Was very snappy and rude at me. I just moved to Dunedin at the time so I had no GP. And she looked at me like I was the worst person on earth to walk into a URGENT CARE. Anyways, she proceeded to tell me how expensive it was and added up the fees and made me pay on the spot. I had An amazing visit today and was well looked after by dr sturgess and her team. She was thorough and made sure that I understood what was going to happend and explained in amazing detail so that I felt reassured. The trip was an expensive one as I'm from Christchurch costing $120 but that's to be expected as we aren't local. 10/10 team.
They did the test and said there's something wrong with my name tag after 5 hours, and wanted me to go back again to do the test?? It just doesn't make sense… And I asked if they just spilled it, they went quiet, and repeated that there's prpblem with the name tag again?
Medical staff and nurses were fantastic- shout out Dr Katherine especially, but everyone was caring and patient and not in a hurry to get rid of me, considering how busy it was outside. The wait times were long but i was very ill so they sped me through. Very grateful to everyone here for the excellent care i received
What amazing staff. I have never been to a medical centre and treated so well. Shout out to Leanne. What knowledgeable and caring bedside manner. And the lady on reception, I am so sorry I do t remember your name. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
