Went to the urgent Dr to make sure I wasn't going to die of pneumonia...had a long wait but fair enough because I wasn't dying after all. Writing this to say that I think Dr Nick is an exceptional doctor...he was very thorough and prescribed " just in case" meds to cover anything that might happen, as i'd been sick for 10 days. Very impressed with the whole experience....reception, nurse...as I always have been on occasional visits over the years.
Shout out to the exceptional staff at the Dunedin urgent care centre. They have cared for my sick Dad and today they cared for me. I was blown away by every single staff members’ support, care, professionalism, communication and liaison with hospital registrars and other clinical professionals in relation to my urgent issue. bronwyn the receptionist is the most rudest person i haf come accross here.. started attacking me over tha phone.. tha first thing bronwyn said to me over tha phone was "are u aware there is a bill to pay" when i said no she started raised her voice at me and became increasingly confrontational and told me in a tone to calm down then progressed to raise her voice alot more at me before hanging up on me, she didnt let me finish talking, i was simply explaining that i had not been informed when i was there that there would be... read more
Had an unexpected trip to Urgent Doctors today, apparently "Smeg" accidents are common😅 I can not praise the team highly enough from the young man who answered my call when I wasn't sure I should go, to the receptionist, nurses and Doc. You are all amazing, caring and compassionate. Thank you
One of the worst experiences you could have as a patient. We paid the full consultation fee only to be seen by a registered nurse, not a doctor. That’s ok so long as it helps the patient. But the RN was extremely rude and condescending to the patient. Take this as an example: you have been unwell for the past few days and haven’t been able to use one of your phone apps to track that condition due to illness and the RN talks you down because of that.
