So glad we found this hotel for our first anniversary. Wish we'd had more time to stay longer. Helen was so sweet and welcoming, she really made it special. The place was quiet, had a great view overlooking everything, and was spotless. I'm a bit of a germaphobe so I was really impressed with how clean everything was, the bathrooms have been updated and they still have the little soaps and shampoos, which a lot of hotels don't do anymore. We heard the cars, saw a road instead of the water view and our dogs refused to walk on the gravel. Save your money and go elsewhere

Their definition of ocien view: Go to the porch turn so your neighbor think you're looking in their room, crane your neck to see a some water. They used a type of gravel that dogs don't like to walk on. There goes our chance of a decent walk.

The hotel is very close to PTown and the Truro beaches. The room was clean. The property is lovely. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only caveat you should be aware of is that the walls are thin and you can hear everything going on in the rooms beside you. Thankfully, my room neighbors were respectful and relatively quiet, but I could see it being a problem if you didn't have room neighbors as respectful. If you don't mind that, you'll be OK. We ve stayed at the Dune Crest for years during a larger family vacation. great job with the renovations. Light and bright. Couple of suggestions: pod style coffee maker in the room, an umbrella by the tennis court -( we used it everyday and it was hot hot hot ) , extra foldout chairs in the room which can be used on the back porch , a way to fill water bottles in the dining area ( like at airport). it’s a terrific place with tasteful clean rooms in a fabulous location. Steep prices in season though.
