Great Staff and Service! I have only had to bring my pets here twice. Once after a housefire and they accepted them with open arms and once when I had to put one of my dogs to sleep. It was heartbreaking and Dr. Fox was extremely sympathetic and nice. The staff even made me a footprint to keep in Big Boys memory. I would higly recommend this animal hospital for regular or emergency care. PROS: Caring, Friendly Staff and Great Service! CONS: Far from my house
Saved my pet when no one could This is the best clinic I have ever been too, very clean, very knowledgeable, and very caring. My dog was terrible sick at age 3 and after staying in a 24 hour clinic was given no hope. I went to Dr Obrien who got to the bottom of his problem and saved his life. He is now 9 and I am thankful for Dundee Animal Hospital for saving my best friend, Dr. O'Brien is Awesome!!!
Caring Veterinarians My husbands family had been bringing their pets here for years, and now that my husband and I have many pets of our own we bring them all to Dundee Animal Hospital. We've brought all of our pets there (including mice, rats, and hamsters) and they treat all animals with equal concern. We have had several different doctors help us and all have been great. Good but Expensive My only problem with Dundee is the cost and the inexperienced vets. If you get one of the older more knowledgeable vets you are in luck the young ones and some of the older ones will run up a bill on you really fast.They always recommend expensive surgery and of course tons of tests and lab work.I stopped going.
OK IN AN EMERGENCY Even tho these people are great in an emergency situation, I do not go there anymore on a regular basis for routine care. In more than one situation, they seemed to be interested in keeping the animal alive no matter what, and not understand my pocketbook. If you are totally a no kill under any circumstances person, then this is the place for you. If you believe after a certain point, called quality of life, further measures are futile, then stay away. PROS: EMERGENCY SERVICE CONS: PRICE AND ATTITUDE

Three years ago, the incredible doctors at this place saved my dogs life and by some miracle gave him three more years to live. My six year old dog Pepper was suffering from problems going to the bathroom and we took him to two other area vets. Those places told us he had a UTI (he actually had bladder stones). One night, he became deathly ill and so we rushed in at 6:00 AM on a Sunday. The Dundee Animal Hospital immediately took him in, drained his bladder, and told us he had a stone blocking his urethra.
