I brought my small cat in for a consultation with Dr. Yanyan Tan due to a minor inflammation on her paw. I was told to return the following week for blood work. At the follow-up appointment, they stated that my cat needed to be sedated for examination because she was too aggressive. Sedation felt unnecessary, especially given her small size and the fact that experienced professionals should be able to manage such cases without full sedation in many instances.
