Michael is a disgusting human, I’ve witnessed him abuse people in person and yell private information over the phone. It’s a real shame because there are a couple of doctors at the practice that are really good but they will lose their patients due to Michael’s unhinged behaviour. He doesn’t even wear shoes, it’s a doctors office, do better.
Dr Zaman has been excellent. I’ve been struggling with various health issues for over 6 months that have been effecting my nerves and muscles. Dr Zaman has been incredibly thorough, arranging many exploratory tests for me, and really endeavouring to understand the root cause of my issue, not just manage the symptoms. Good to be able to have a laugh with as well.
Horrible receptionist and non caring doctors. I had to ask my mum to book an appointment due to an injury- she looked around whilst I organised to ensure my work was covered (I work with emergency services). Unfortunately my mum entered online 1 year off my birth year on their online form (she was next to me) She was then called and abused for 5 minutes about “HOW DANGEROUS YOU GOT THE DATE WRONG” and continued to berate her whilst she offered that we would come early and fill out a form. As the granddaughter of a 78-year-old woman treated appallingly by the Practice Manager Michael, I’m shocked. When my nan called about test results, she was met with dismissive, ageist comments like, “What do you expect at your age?” and zero compassion throughout the call. It’s no surprise this place has a 2.2 star rating. I would never recommend this clinic to anyone and will be posting in the Duncraig Facebook forums to warn others to stay away.
My 78-year-old mother called to discuss non-urgent test results after receiving a text from the surgery. She spoke with Michael, the Practice Manager, who initially dismissed her concerns, saying, “If it was anything serious, we would have called you.” He then told her, “None of them are good, but what do you expect at your age?!”—a completely inappropriate and ageist comment.
