Was held against my will...they said they could help my daughter she didn't meet the criteria so when I told.them she had a couseling appointment and phych eval they said I could leave then told me I had to meet with their consider or they would call dhs on me and take my child
Nobody likes being in the hospital, but the staff at DRH works hard to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Thanks for your help and attention. I’m glad it’s over.
Had to actually put a star to post, but I wouldn’t do any stars…. Took my 6 year old in for acute abdominal pain, she was literally in the fetal position holding her stomach, wouldn’t walk. They did an X-ray, gave her Motrin and zofran, did a urine test, and tested her for RSV/flu/covid, even though they were told she had no N/V/D or fever. We were then discharged … FROM THE WAITING ROOM. We never even got a room. With them saying nothing was wrong. No blood work, no other scans of her abd. Brought in for dehydration, possible heat related illness. Felt that I received excellent care. Thorough, kind, respectful. Appreciated the care provided, acknowledging that ER became very busy during this time. Regardless, staff was very attentive.
