My recommendation is to get the rental restrictions up front, and get it in writing. I bought just down the road in Laurel Park which has one remaining home to be sold to compete the development. It is already in decline because we are over 30% rentals. It is well known that rentals crush a neighborhood’s values. Check before you buy and GET IT IN WRITING or you could end up like me, a one year old home already declining in value.
My daughter and I moved to the Atlanta area from Northern Virginia in 2022 to what we thought would be our forever home in Loganville, and unfortunately, we absolutely hated it. The builder was horrible and sold a ton of homes to an investment company to use as rentals which immediately destroyed our property value.
